Huawei Ascend P7 gets Android 5.1.1 indicating imminent rollout of Android M
Users of Huawei's flagship Ascend P7 now have lots to cheer as Android 5.1.1, the latest Lollipop build is now seeding to the handset across the world. Owners of the smartphone should notice the latest update via automatic OTA.
As per a GSMArena report, Huawei Ascend P7 owners can check out the Android 5.1.1 OS update in the form of a 1.26GB size file. Those preferring to download manually can do so by checking out the official firmware section on Huawei's website.
Apart from representing a newer Lollipop build, the OS update rollout indicates the imminent arrival of Google's latest Android M OS update to the Huawei Ascend P7. As of now, a host of leading smartphones are confirmed to get Android M as an OS update. The list can be checked out here.
As far as newer enhancements are concerned, users of Ascend P7 after installation of Android 5.1.1 can check out newer aspects such as animation effects, revamped/smooth user interface, improved battery life of the smartphone, task switcher animation effects working faster and a host of conventional performance (and stability) improvements along with bug-fixes.
