Iain Duncan Smith's DWP Helps Find Youth Jobs in Porn Films and Sex Shops
Iain Duncan Smith's Department for Work and Pensions is so dedicated to getting young people into work that it has granted wage subsidies to porn industry employers to take on Britain's youth.
According to official guidance from the DWP, porn sector employers will receive a £2,275 wage incentive under the government's Youth Contract for taking on young unemployed people.
This is on top of a £1,137.50 wage subsidy for those taken on for part-time work.
However, employers will miss out on the government subsidies if they hire young people as porn actors, mud wrestlers or strippograms as Whitehall grants only apply to those working behind the camera or the auxiliary side of industry.
For example, adult entertainment employers which hire Britain's youth can expect to claim the £2,275 wage subsidy if they work as webcam operators and glamour photographers.
"This government took action to ensure jobs in the adult industry which might exploit jobseekers were not advertised through Jobcentre Plus," said a DWP spokesperson.
"We also ensured that to be eligible for our schemes jobs must not exploit vulnerable jobseekers."
