Juventus will look to continue their perfect start to the season when they face Inter Milan in the Derby d'Italia at the San Siro on 18 September.

Overview

Mauro Icardi's brace gave Inter Milan their first win of the season at Pescara on 11 September, but the 18-time Italian champions followed that up with a dispiriting 2-0 defeat at home against Hapoel Beer Sheva in the Europa League in midweek. The Nerazzurri have lost three of their last five head-to-head meetings with Juventus.

Cristian Ansaldi and Marco Andreolli are sidelined for the hosts through injury, but winger Ivan Perisic is available after recovering from a muscle problem. Marcelo Brozovic has been left out of the squad by Frank de Boer over disciplinary issues.

Gonzalo Higuain was anonymous as Juventus were held to a scoreless draw at home by Sevilla in the Champions League on 14 September. The Bianconeri were beaten 3-0 by Inter at the San Siro in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final in March, but the Old Lady went on to win the tie 5-3 on penalties.

Midfielders Claudio Marchisio and Stefano Sturaro (both knee) are sidelined through injury for the visitors.
