International Women's Day 2016: Inspirational Hollywood actresses who have adopted kids
International Women's Day is celebrated across the world on 8 March to honour women, past and present, for their achievements in various fields. It is also the day when we remember women who have fought injustice and cruelty so as to make the lives of others better.
The first Women's Day was celebrated by the Socialist Party of America in 1909 in remembrance of the struggle of the garment workers who protested against the poor work conditions earlier that year. Two years later Women's Day was official marked and observed by over a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. Since then people all over the world have been observing Women's Day on the same date.
Talking about movies, women have played a vital role in shaping Hollywood as well. Without them the filming industry would not be what it is today. Some of these actresses/celebrities have been more so inspirational by adopting children.
