iOS 8.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak: How to Update TaiG 8.0-8.1.1 untether package to TaiG v1.1 via Cydia
iOS 8.1.1 users who have already jailbroken their device with TaiG can directly update their device to TaiG v1.1 untether via Cydia, in a few simple steps.
Those who are already jailbroken on iOS 8.1.1 can simply add the TaiG repo and update the untether package via Cydia.
Note: Those who are currently jailbroken with Pangu should not install this untether update as it may permanently damage or brick the device.
Here are the steps to install the TaiG v1.1 untether update for iOS 8.0-8.1.1 (courtesy of iDownloadBlog):
Step 1: Launch Cydia and select the Sources tab.
Step 2: Tap on Edit button at the upper right-hand corner of the window.
Step 3: Tap on Add button in the upper left-hand corner.
Step 4: Type in the following URL in the pop-up box: http://apt.taig.com and hit Add Source.
Step 5: After loading the source, tap the Return to Cydia button
Step 6: Select the TaiG source at the bottom of the page, and choose All Packages.
Step 7: Finally, choose the TaiG 8.0-8.1.1 Untether package, and tap the Install button in the upper right-hand corner and tap Confirm.
Step 8: Once the untether installation completes, tap the Reboot button at the bottom of the screen to reboot your device

However, those who are yet to jailbreak their device on iOS 8.1.1 can do so by downloading the latest TaiG jailbreak update for Windows, TaiG v1.1.0 (from here), and follow our step-by-step guide posted here to install the same.
The new TaiG v1.1 release is reportedly a minor update with bug fixes for sandboxing issues present in the previous version (v1.0.2) of TaiG jailbreak tool.
