iOS 8 jailbreak: Seven best jailbreak tweaks on non-default Cydia repos

Avid iOS jailbreakers can now enjoy seven great jailbreak tweaks that are found outside of Cydia's default repos, with due credit to a recent post on Reddit that lists out these tweaks.

IBTimes UK explores some of these tweaks from lesser-known private repos that do not belong to either of the popular BigBoss or ModMyi repos.

WeatherBadge

It displays the current ambient temperature and other weather info on the stock Weather app.

messageColors

This tweak allows you to customise the colours used in MobileSMS or to change the colours of bubbles in the Messages app to suit your mood.

It can be downloaded via Rolfe Cydia repo for free and has been tested to work fine on iOS 8.

vAlarm

It enables you to set custom volume level for alarm clock and timer. You can get it for free via tateu.net repo.

Kodi

This is the fully functional version of Kodi (aka XBMC) for your iPhone that lets you stream videos from your local computer or third-party sources.

It also allows users to connect to any HD Homerun device using the local network.

QRConversation

Using this tweak, you can view the conversation history of your Messages app directly from the quick reply interface.

The tweak is available for download via Ian Burns repo.

RoundedSwitcherCards

This tweak allows you to transform the App Switcher cards into rounded-rectangles and it can be downloaded for free via Ian Burns Cydia repo.

ReturnToSender

It basically replaces the return button on the device's virtual keyboard with a more useful send button in the Messages app.

This feature is also accessible through the Messages quick reply interface.
