Overview

Rajasthan Royals are looking to bounce back from their disappointing loss against Kings XI Punjab.

Brilliant performances from Sanju Samson(50) and Shane Watson(52) in the middle overs took Rajasthan's score to an impressive 191. But Punjab chased it successfully, riding on Glenn Maxwell(89*) and David Miller(51*) with eight balls to spare.

The duo hit a cumulative 12 sixes during their stay on the pitch as Rajasthan looked on in dismay. Dhawan Kulkarni and James Faulkner were both taken to the driers as each conceded an economy of more than 12 in their allotted quota of overs. Rajat Bhatia also gave away 38 runs in his two overs, something which captain Watson has to address before their game against CSK.

Meanwhile, Chennai come into the game after thrashing Delhi in their previous game. Mahendra Singh Dhoni's side scored 177 runs while batting first with Suresh Raina(56) and Dhoni(32) doing the bulk of the scoring. In reply, Delhi were all out for only 84 runs, conceding a massive deficit of 93 runs. All the bowlers played their part, with Ishwar Pandey, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja taking two wickets each.
