Overview

The Delhi Daredevils' first aim will be to finish away from the bottom of the table, a place they occupied for the last two seasons. They have struggled to put in a consistent run in the last two campaigns and will be hoping for a better performance this time around.

Zaheer Khan has been roped in to lead them, but their biggest capture could be Rahul Dravid, who has been appointed as the team mentor with Paddy Upton as the head coach.

Prediction: Delhi Daredevils come into the tournament after two poor seasons, which saw them finish at the bottom of the table on both occasions. They will be keen to improve upon that this season. They will not enter the tournament as one of the favourites to make the play-offs and we expect them to be a mid-table team yet again this season.
