Jaime King sends heartfelt message to godmother Taylor Swift on son's 1st birthday
The Sin City actress also shared a picture of her 2-year-old son James Knight along with husband Kyle Newman.
Jaime King on Saturday took to social media to share a heartfelt message with Taylor Swift on her son's first birthday. The Blank Spaces hit-maker is the godmother of the Sin City actress's youngest son Leo Thames Newman's. King had named Swift her second baby's godmother, in March 2015 – even before his birth.
The 37-year-old actress shared a collage of intimate photos of herself with her baby and the 26-year-old songstress on Twitter. "Wow! @taylorswift13 LT's 1st bday already?! He sends kisses & a bangin' 2 teeth smile to his Godmother in Oz. Weu!" King wrote and shared a picture of her two-year-old son James Knight along with her husband Kyle Newman.
During an interview with E! Online in April 2015, The Hart of Dixie star said, "I always thought if I were to have another child that she would be the ideal godmother because the way she not only treats me but the way she treats other human beings. She's so loving and so giving and so generous and she does everything from her heart and she's incredibly brave and authentic. It's a very rare thing to come across."
Swift, during her concert in August 2015, had shared with fans about meeting King's baby.
She said, "I wrote it when I was like 18 or 19 but my friend just had a baby and she made me godmother of it and I was holding this little baby the other night and I was just thinking differently. When you're holding onto something that's so innocent and so perfect and has no idea what's coming for it with the world. The world is going to throw so many things at you as we grow up."
Swift is currently dating British actor Tom Hiddleston. The couple's romance was revealed when pictures of the two kissing on a beach in Rhode Island on 14 June surfaced on the internet. Before getting romantically involved with The Thor actor, the songstress was in a relationship with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.
