James Corden: Gavin and Stacey 'Too Good' Not to Bring Back
James Corden has confirmed that a new series of Gavin and Stacey will be returning to our screens in the near future.
The 33-year-old British actor insisted that the award-winning BBC comedy was "too good" not to make a comeback.
Corden, who co-wrote the sitcom with Bridgend writer and actress Ruth Jones, told the Daily Mail: "It would be a crime not to, it's a great show.
"Writing with Ruth is a gift. I plan on doing more."
However, the father-of-one, who played Smithy in the series based in South Wales and Essex, insisted that there were no plans in the pipeline yet.
He tweeted: "Getting loads of messages about a Gavin and Stacey special. I'm sorry to say there are no plans right now im afraid, but maybe one day."
Corden, who recently made a splash on Broadway in the play One Man Two Guvnors, is filming in New York for film Can A Song Save Your Life?
