Jamie Oliver's Missing Apprentice Chef Kevin Boyle Found Dead
An original TV apprentice of Jamie Oliver has been found dead in a back garden in south London - three months after he went missing.
Kevin Boyle, 26, was reported missing from Purley, south London in October 2011. An internet campaign was set up to find him.
Jamie Oliver, who hosted Jamie's Kitchen which brought the young chef national fame, was said to be deeply saddened by the news.
Oliver said: "I am proud to have been able to call Kevin a friend for 10 years. He was also a constant supporter of Fifteen [Oliver's job creation restaurant] and all the apprentices and graduates who came after him through the course."
Scotland Yard said they found Boyle's body in Coulsdon. Police were treating the death as unexplained".
Friends and family set up the FindKevin website in the hope of finding the chef who had a long history of depression.
