Jana Duggar leaving 19 Kids and Counting? Reality TV star wants to pursue higher studies
Jana Duggar, popularly known as Cinderella of 19 Kids and Counting is reportedly planning to break tradition and move out of the Duggar family to pursue higher studies.
Her younger sisters Jessa and Jill got married and left their parents' house, but the eldest daughter wants to break that tradition and move out of the house a single woman, OK! Magazine reported.
According to the report, Jana has had enough as she has spent all these years baby sitting her younger siblings. Now, she has decided to achieve her own dreams instead of following her younger sister's footsteps.
The eldest Duggar daughter will try and convince her parents into letting her attend college.
"Jana just turned 25, so she knows she needs to get on with her education if she doesn't want to be stuck at her mom and dad's house in Arkansas forever," a family source told the magazine.
"She told her parents that she was looking at Christian colleges and would be applying soon. This is probably the first time Jana has really stuck up for herself," the family insider revealed.
Jana, who is a concert pianist, wants to pursue higher education, but it does not seem like her father Jim Bob Duggar would support her decision. He is likely to dissuade her from going to college.
However, fearing more diaper changing duties, as her sister and sister-law are both heavily pregnant, Jana may opt for Crown College of the Bible, which has a music programme an Inquisitr report says.
The Duggar daughter is also scared as her parents Michelle and Jim Bob are reportedly trying for their 20th child.
Jana has always been assigned household chores and has been taking care of her siblings as a live-in babysitter. And the website claims that this might be the reason that she has decided to move out of the Duggar house.
The reality show 19 Kids and Counting airs on TLC network every Tuesday.
