Janet Jackson's estranged husband shares heartfelt message on 'love' just days after couple split
Wissam Al Mana shared a cryptic post a few days back that many believe is a dig at his ex-wife.
A-lister couple Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana took the world by surprise when the news of their separation surfaced mere months after the couple welcomed their first baby. While they may no longer be together, the mutual love and support they shared earlier is seemingly still intact.
In a heartfelt message posted on his official website along with a classic black and white portrait of the songstress, the Qatari businessman shared his gratitude towards his ex-wife. The message titled Love read: "To the most beautiful person in the world, thank you for your divine love, your eternal support and for being my best friend.
Al Mana continued, "I love you so much, inshallah we will be together in the Great Forever x.
Even as he seems overcome with emotions, the message stands in contrast with rumours that suggest marriage troubles forced the Rhythm Nation singer to call time on her relationship.
Multiple reports confirmed last week that the 50-year-old performer split from her husband of five years just three months after giving birth to her son, Eissa Al Mana.
Since then, speculation has been rife about what led to the end of the low-key couple's relationship. A Page Six report claimed, "[Jackson] thought [Wissam] had become too controlling during the pregnancy and she had already allowed him to dictate her appearance and even the way she performed at concerts."
Jackson's ex further raised eyebrows when he shared a passage from the Quran a few days back, making many believe that it was a dig at the songstress.
He shared, "You shall most certainly be tried in your possessions and in your persons; and indeed you shall hear many hurtful things from those to whom revelation was granted before your time, as well as from those who have come to ascribe divinity to other beings beside Allah. But if you remain patient in adversity and conscious of Him – this, behold, is something to set one's heart upon. - 3:186."
Meanwhile, the late Michael Jackson's sister shared the first image of her newborn son with her fans on social media. "My baby and me after nap time," she captioned the photo.
