Frozen creates rift between married couple of six years. Disney

Disney's blockbuster hit 'Frozen' is back in the news but not for its monstrous box office collections.

The fantasy movie has inspired numerous songs, spoofs and discussions but this time it became the reason for the rift between a Japanese couple.

A couple married for six years had a bitter fight when the husband said that the movie Frozen was just 'Ok', Yahoo reported.

The news came to light through the Japanese marriage counselling website Kikonsha no Hakaba which means 'The Gravesite of Married People.' As the name suggests, couples share their anguish on the website and seek advice to solve their marital issues.

On the website, the 31-year-old husband shared his story and his wife's mad love for the Disney movie.

The 29-year-old wife became so obsessed with the movie that she made several trips to the theatre sans her better half but eventually forced him to watch the movie at least once, as he had studied Danish Literature at university.

She presumed that the husband would like Frozen because the movie is inspired from the Hans Christian Anderson tale 'The Snow Queen'.

But instead he said "It's an okay movie, I guess, but I didn't really care for it personally."

The wife was certainly not impressed with his response, especially when he asked, "Do you really think it's that good?"

"If you can't understand what makes this movie great, there's something wrong with you as a human being!" she thundered and then concluded the conversation with "I want a divorce!"

The husband, who is still in a state of shock, also revealed that there had not been a single fight between the couple during six years of marriage, and that the sudden fascination of his wife for Frozen had resulted in a quake in their relationship.

Meanwhile, Yahoo reported that the wife is currently staying with her parents who were trying to get her to make peace with her husband.
