Je Suis Charlie: One minute's silence for Charlie Hebdo attack victims
A day of mourning is being held across France after the devastating attack on the offices of satirical news magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, which saw 12 people killed, including 10 staff members and two police officers.
Both in France and around the world, thousands of people joined rallies and vigils in memory of the victims of the attack.
Many who poured into Place de la Republique in Paris near the site of the attack waved pencils and pens. As a show of support for free speech, many held placards with the slogan "Je Suis Charlie".
As a tribute the victims who lost their lives, and a show of support for freedom of speech, IBTimes UK offers a minute of silence with images of the vigils held around the world. Je suis Charlie.
