Jennifer Aniston speaks out on being 'shamed' for Brad Pitt's divorce, says Justin Theroux adores her
Friends star says, 'All I know is that I feel completely seen, and adored, in no matter what state.'
Jennifer Aniston has been subjected to multiple rumours regarding her pregnancy, her relationship with husband Justin Theroux and her alleged involvement in the high-profile divorce of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
However, the American actress is not taking any of the rumours lightly and during her recent interview for Marie Claire's December 2016 issue, she has slammed all the baseless speculation surrounding her life and claimed that she was "shamed" for everything even after working hard for her career.
"My marital status has been shamed; my divorce status was shamed; my lack of a mate had been shamed; my nipples have been shamed. It's like, 'Why are we only looking at women through this particular lens of picking us apart? Why are we listening to it'?" Aniston told the magazine when asked about her famous Op-ed in the Huffington Post.
"I just thought: I have worked too hard in this life and this career to be whittled down to a sad, childless human," she said, referring to the countless pregnancy rumours.
Aniston also spoke about her married life with The Leftover star. "All I know is that I feel completely seen, and adored, in no matter what state. There's no part of me that I don't feel comfortable showing, exposing. And it brings forth the best part of myself, because I care about him so much. And he's such a good person. It hurts me to think of anything hurting him."
The 47-year-old Friends actress was pictured with what looked like a baby bump, during one of her beach dates with husband Theroux sparking rumours that she is expecting a child. "For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up. I'm fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body-shaming that occurs daily," the angry actress wrote in her Huffington Post Op-ed.
