Jennifer Garner talks about her plans for Thanksgiving
Former couple Garner and Affeck reportedly spent Thanksgiving together as a family last year.
Jennifer Garner has revealed her Thanksgiving plans. The Miracles From Heaven star has said that like every year, she will be cooking the festive meal for her family.
When Entertainment Tonight asked the 44-year-old actress as to what her Thanksgiving plans were, she said, "I'm cooking!" "I'm cooking -- always, everything!" the mother-of-three added.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affeck reportedly spent Thanksgiving together as a family last year despite announcing their split in June the same year.
"They spent it as a family unit – all for the kids," a source had told People magazine. "They had a great time."
"[Ben Affleck] looked very happy all weekend. He spent a lot of time at the family house," another source told the celebrity news website.
The former couple has remained amicable following their separation. Moreover, the duo have been co-parenting their three children - daughters Violet, 10, and Seraphina, 7, and 4-year-old son, Samuel.
Recently, Garner told ET Online she and her former partner are trying to make their "world a little bit better" by being a better role model for the children.
"That's really important at home, to make sure that our kids know that we both have causes that we care so much about... that we dedicate time, resources, and our energy toward making our own little slice of the world a little bit better," she told the news outlet during the fourth annual Save the Children Illumination Gala in New York City.
On Saturday, Garner was honoured at the annual Baby2Baby Gala in Culver City, California. She was awarded with the charity's Giving Tree Award for her dedication to children in need around the world.
Garner told ET that she got involved with Baby2Baby while working as the Board of Trustees for Save The Children.
"Everyone who tries to help kids, we're all just different pieces of the puzzle," Garner said. "But you can't help kids without food in their bellies, you can't help kids without clean bottoms, and you can't help kids without some basic bare essentials, and that's what Baby2Baby takes care of so beautifully."
