Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart engaged? Speculation grows as she labels toy boy 'handsome bear'

It appears as if Jennifer Lopez and former boyfriend Casper Smart are back together – and this time it looks like it's serious.

Lopez was seen at the Met Gala on 7 May with a diamond ring on her wedding finger, and now the 45-year-old has revealed she's not shy about gushing over her current partner on social media.

Doing nothing to dispel the rumours of her supposed engagement, Lopez took to Instagram to post a photograph of the 28-year-old dancer with the caption: "#MCM @beaucaspersmart #lovethispic #HandsomeBear".

It was thought that the two had reunited romantically after they were spotted together in public numerous times, going to dinner and attending a Kanye West concert together in LA.

In March, things looked like they were back on track for the duo when Smart accompanied the Booty singer to the premiere of her latest film, Home, in which she starred and he did the choreography. Then in early May, they went on a low-key holiday to Mexico with Lopez's twins.

It was even reported by Life & Style back in April that Lopez has already made Smart sign a generous pre-nuptial agreement. A source told the publication that while "some friends think marriage would be a disaster, she says she's never been happier", but in the event of a divorce, Lopez would be willing to give her toy boy "$20m [£12.7m], a house and a car."

"Casper didn't blink," the insider continued. "He said 'of course'."

The pair dated after the former American Idol judge split from husband-of-10-years Marc Anthony in 2011 and were an item for almost three years before breaking up in June of last year.

However, now the couple seem to be well and truly back on, rumours have circulated that they never really broke up, with claims that the separation was staged in order to promote Lopez's new film The Boy Next Door, enabling her to be linked with her co-star Ryan Guzman.

During their supposed time apart, the two stars were spotted together multiple times, including paparazzi photographing Smart hiding Lopez in his convertible BMW, just two months after announcing their split.

Then in December, it was claimed that one of Lopez's neighbours was bitten by a mystery dog. It was later revealed that it was Smart's dog and he came running out of the house in pyjamas shortly after the attack, according to reports.
