Jeremy Kyle and Carla Germaine split: Couple granted quickie divorce after she cities 'unreasonable behaviour'
Jeremy Kyle is officially back on the market after his wife of 14 years was granted a quickie divorce. It took just 20 seconds for the chat show host's divorce from Carla Germaine to be finalised at London's Central Family Court after she cited "unreasonable behaviour".
The controversial presenter announced their split in September 2015 telling the Sun: "After 13 years of a generally happy marriage my wife and I, Carla, have separated amicably. We have sadly grown apart over recent years and been living apart since earlier this summer."
News of the couple's break-up comes after Kyle made a frank admission about their sex life while interrogating a woman about her relationship.
When a guest on his show denied claims she had been cheating, insisting that she had no reason to stray as she got plenty of sex from her boyfriend, Kyle hit back: "Tell him then! I've had enough talking about it. I haven't had sex for ages myself."
England polo star James Carr claimed to have had a fling with Kyle's model wife while the TV presenter was away in the US. Kyle has three children with Germaine, who he married in 2002. He was previously married to Kirsty Rowley but the union ended in divorce in 1990 after a year. The pair have a daughter Harriet, 25, together.
