Jessica Simpson drives fans wild with jaw-dropping photo in just a green robe: 'Holy moly'
"Green with Envy," the mother-of-two teased in the photo caption.
A little early for Christmas? In her signature sultry style, Jessica Simpson is prepping up for the upcoming festive season – getting decked in the traditional green and red hues while teasing her fans on social media with a subtle flash of skin.
Oozing boudoir vibes, the 37-year-old singer posed for the lenses recently, flaunting her envy-worthy curves in a slinky emerald green robe. The picture that seems to have been clicked in her changing room showed Simpson all dolled up as she flashed a glimpse of her red lingerie underneath the gown.
"Green with Envy," the mother-of-two teased, sharing the saucy click with her 4 million Instagram followers; who like always were pleasantly surprised with the sudden festive-inspired click.
"You are stunningly beautiful, shared one of her fans, echoing the general mix of feelings on the picture-sharing site. A second user couldn't help but exclaim, "Holy moly."
"Jess is working. She said that she can't wait to show us. That green is very pretty and looks good on her," another impressed viewer commented, as someone else took notice of the songstress' striking green gown, writing, "Smoking in green."
"Looking great in green! But when we gone get a new Country album from you???" asked another fan of the Irresistible singer.
The buzz surrounding her latest social media upload is natural considering it's been sometime Simpson has treated her fans to such jaw-dropping clicks. While it's not known if it's a teaser for an upcoming album or something else, the songstress has definitely sent her fans into a frenzy.
But unlike her saucy posts, fans are not quite pleased with pictures showing her 5-year-old daughter Maxwell wearing a face full of makeup. The backlash was sparked by a "mommy-daughter" day out click – with young Maxwell donning a dark lipstick – which Simpson had shared with her fans on Instagram.
"@maccosmetics is my daughter's favourite store!" the singer shared alongside Maxwell's dolled-up image. Urging that the little one is too young for makeup, several fans had even called out Simpson's parenting skills.
Despite all the criticism, the American pop star has remained unfazed and instead shared more bold and brazen pictures on social media. As for her confidence to get through all this, Simpson says it's something that comes from within.
"If you're at ease on the inside, your confidence shines through," she told People magazine adding that over the years she has enjoyed working with her team and especially her mum. "They bring out my most comfortable, creative and silly qualities. We do a lot of laughing on set!"
