New Manchester City star Jesus Navas feels that he is already a key player in Manuel Pellegrini's squad and expects to win titles with them, as he has with Sevilla and Spain.

Navas won two UEFA Cup Finals in a row for Sevilla -in 2006 and 2007 - as well as the World Cup and the European Cup with Spain. However, last summer he decided to move to Manchester City to win more tittles because Sevilla is no longer a top club.

"Manchester City does not intimidate me and neither does the squad. In Sevilla I also played big games. I feel an important player for City and I am happy," Navas told Spanish Radio Program Desmarcados.

"I am a player who demands a lot to myself. I always want to get more. In the last few years at Sevilla we could not get titles and I wanted to grow as a player.

"I was used to win titles with Sevilla and Spain, I wanted to keep doing it and I had that option with Manchester City. They bet everything for me. I wanted to experience something new. What I got in Seville was unique, but I wanted a new challenge."

Tuning in with the Teletubbies

Navas is gradually adapting to the Premier League and to his new life in England, where he is having some troubles with the language. Thankfully, four furry friends are always available to help.

"We learn with the Teletubbies! Is a little bit hard for me but is a unique opportunity to learn and I am trying," said the Spanish Winger.

Navas also revealed that manager Pellegrini played a key role in his move to City.

"Pellegrini has welcomed me very well. He is a hard-worker, humble and simple. He likes his teams to have the ball and he has had success everywhere."

Manchester City paid around £20million to Sevilla to get Navas and the player is trying to reward his team in the pitch. He already has scored a goal in the League Cup and has three assists but is still adapting to the English style.

"I am very impressed about the Premier League rhythm. The games are very direct and the League is very competitive," added Navas.

Last summer some Spanish media outlets reported that Real Madrid also tried to sign Navas. However, the winger felt that City did more to make him feel wanted than any other club.

"There was some comment [about a move to Real], but the one that really show interest in me was Manchester City."
