Jill And Jessa Counting On: Jana Duggar wants to date a hard-working man

Jana Duggar is the eldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle and is single while her younger sisters Jill and Jessa are leading happily married lives. Episode 2 of Jill And Jessa Counting On will focus on the 26-year-old reality TV star.

The eldest Duggar daughter will finally open up about her life and the qualities she is looking for in her dream man. Upon asked by Anna about her courtship and what kind of a man she would choose, Jana replies: "A hard-working guy versus an office job guy." Jessa Seewald quickly adds that her sister "prefers a guy that gets his hands dirty."

"I want dirt under the nails," Jana laughingly agrees with Jessa. The episode will focus on Jana and Jessa as they start a DIY project while their family goes on a Central America tour to meet Jill and Derick Seewald.

"When it comes to getting something done, you gotta get Jana involved," Jessa gushes about her big sister in a sneak peek video of the upcoming episode. The mother-of-one also raved that Jana was a leader and an all-round helping hand for the family.

The synopsis of epispde 2 titled Date Night And Bright Light reads: A DIY lighting project is undertaken by Jessa and Jana while the rest of the family visits Jill and Derick in Central America. Later, Jessa and Ben go on a date for the first time since Spurgeon was born.

There is a perception among fans that the Duggars (especially Jim Bob and Michelle) treat their elder daughter Jana as a family member responsible for taking care of the children and babies in the house. While many fans praised her for the way she handled the household chores and the children of her other siblings, they also sympathised with her and even named her Cinderella of the Duggar house.

The Jana-centric episode, however, suggests that TLC finally wants to address the Cinderella Duggar issues and show her side of the story to fans.
