John Legend reveals baby daughter Luna Simone Stephens's face on Instagram

John Legend has shared the first close-up photo of his newborn daughter, just two days after his wife Chrissy Teigen gave the world a glimpse of Luna Simone Stephens on Instagram. The couple welcomed their baby girl on 14 April.

The photo the All Of Me singer shared on Instagram shows the little one lying on a white blanket, while her head rest on a pillow. The baby has a full set of black hair and dark eyes. The 37-year-old singer did not caption the photo. The former Sports Illustrated model shared the same photo on her account. The two married in September 2013.

On 19 April, the 30-year-old mother shared the first glimpse of their daughter on the social media site. In the photo, Teigen can be seen holding her daughter in her arms, while she gently looks at her. She captioned the photo: "hi my lulu!"

Teigen had announced the birth of Luna on Instagram on 17 April. The new mother shared a photo of a monitor that showed the weight of her daughter when she was born. She captioned the photo: "She's here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy. ❤️"

"John and Chrissy are in such a joyful place with their healthy baby girl Luna," a source previously told EOnline. "They are surrounded by family and close friends. Chrissy and John can't stop gushing over Luna. She is perfect!"

"Luna looks like a mini Chrissy and has some of John's features. Luna has cute round cheeks and looks like a baby model already," the source said. "They are not looking to get her into modeling anytime soon."

"This is the best time in their lives," the source added. "They are natural parents. They look at Luna as a blessing cause it was not an easy road having a baby. John sings to Luna all the time. This whole experience is stirring up some new music for John. Luna is an inspiration to them both."
