John Mayer Trying To Hook Up With Glee Star Lea Michele

John Mayer is reportedly trying to hook up with Glee star Lea Michele.

According to a report in Star magazine, the Paper Doll singer has been texting the actress non-stop.

"John's had a crush on Lea for a while," a source said. "He constantly tells her how beautiful and talented she is."

This comes after Mayer split from American pop star Katy Perry in March after the singers dated for a year-and-a-half.

Mayer, who has previously dated Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and Taylor Swift, has a reputation as a Casanova.

However, Michele is not yet open for a relationship since the sudden death of Glee co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith.

Monteith, who played heartthrob Finn Hudson in the hit Fox television series, was found dead in a room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel in Vancouver, Canada. An autopsy revealed that he died of "mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol."

Michele met Monteith on the set of Glee back in 2009 but their friendship blossomed into a relationship later.

"She just wants someone to have fun with," the insider revealed. "She isn't about to give her heart away to someone like him."

In a separate report, Michele confirmed rumours that she once dated her Glee co-star Matthew Morrison in her new book Brunette Ambition.

"When we shot the pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer for the first time," she wrote.

"I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat," Michele added.
