Justin Bieber lashes out at fans for posting nasty comments about rumoured girlfriend Sofia Richie
The singer has threatened to make his Instagram settings private if hate comments were posted against Sofia.
Justin Bieber went on a public outburst after some fans of the singer targeted his rumoured girlfriend Sofia Richie with hate comments on social media. The Sorry hit-maker threatened to make his Instagram profile private if his fans continued with nasty comments on the social media site.
According to reports, haters targeted the younger daughter of legendary singer Lionel Richie after the 22-year-old singer shared black and white photos of himself along with Sofia on Instagram.
"Someone kill this b***h," a fan wrote on the image sharing site. Another said: "And... MY MAN! B***H!"
However, some fans supported the singer. "Could yall just sit and enjoy his happiness honestly," a fan wrote.
As soon as people started using foul language, Bieber threatened to make his Instagram private if hate comments were posted.
"I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like," Bieber captioned one of the photos.
The duo have been spotted spending a lot of time together since the past few days sparking romance rumours. The two were pictured holding hands while taking a stroll on Laguna Beach on 5 August. Later on 9 August, Sofia was spotted leaving Bieber's Toluca Lake home in her pajamas. On 10 August, the two were seen boarding a private jet to Japan from Van Nuys airport for Bieber's Purpose Tour concert scheduled for 13 August.
Bieber's last confirmed relationship was with singer Selena Gomez. The former couple dated from late 2010 but split in 2014.
In February, the Same Old Love hit-maker told W Magazine that she was "exhausted" by the endless media attention their tumultuous relationship received.
"I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can't do it anymore. At first I didn't care. To me it was: I'm 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together, we like that," the songstress said. (via Entertainment Tonight)
"Then I got my heart broken and I cared, because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things. I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall. I didn't know where to go," she added.
