Justin Bieber Provokes Outrage After Comparing Paparazzi 'Crash' to Princess Diana Death
Singer claimed they should have learnt from Paris car chase that killed the royal and her lover

Pop superstar Justin Bieber has provoked fresh controversy after comparing his treatment from the paparazzi to the tragic death of Princess Diana.
The Baby hitmaker made the statement after getting into a minor collision with photographer in West Hollywood earlier this week.
According to witnesses, the accident occurred after Bieber grew frustrated with the cameraman following him and slammed on his brakes, causing the pap to rear-end him.
Although neither party was injured in the crash, Bieber later took to social media to vent his anger over being constantly trailed by the media.
In a series of posts he compared his experience to that of Princess Diana who was died 1997, as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris.
...I don't have a problem with Paparazzi but when they act recklessly they put us all in danger.

There should be laws against what I just experienced. We should have learned from the death of Princess Diana...

Many fans slammed the star's comparison as unjustified, as the late royal had no part to play in her death.
"What a horrid thing to say," one unimpressed critic said.
.@JustinBieber has compared his treatment from the paparazzi to that experienced by Princess Diana. Exaggerated much?

Oh, that's disappointing @justinbieber was run over by a pap, and didn't die :(

This is not the first time Bieber comments about an iconic figure has raised eyebrows.
Back in 2013, he provoked outrage when he visited the Anne Frank Museum and wrote the message: "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber."
