Juventus will be hoping to exact revenge for their Champions League final loss in 2015 when they host Barcelona in the first leg of the quarter-final at the Juventus Stadium on 11 April.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 7.45pm BST. The game will be broadcast live on BT Sport 2. Live streaming of the match is available on BT Sport Live Streaming for UK residents.

Overview

Juventus warmed up for their Champions League showdown with Barcelona by beating Chievo 2-0 at home on 8 April, with Gonzalo Higuain scoring both goals. The Italian champions have won two of their seven previous meetings with Barcelona in European competition. They were beaten 3-1 by the Catalans in the 2015 Champions League final in Berlin.

Massimiliano Allegri has no fresh injury concerns. Croatian forward Marko Pjaca remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Barcelona's La Liga title hopes suffered a blow at the weekend as they crashed to a 2-0 loss away to Malaga. The Catalan giants have lost two of their last three away games in the Champions League.

Rafinha (knee), Aleix Vidal (ankle) and Arda Turan (groin) are all out injured for the visitors, while midfielder Sergio Busquets is suspended.

What managers say

Massimiliano Allegri: "When you play the first leg at home, it's always nice not to concede. Against a team like Barcelona, it won't be easy – more a case of us having to score more than them. You cannot imagine two 0-0s against Barcelona and winning on penalties. To go through, we'll have to produce two great performances and have a bit of luck." [via Uefa.com]

Luis Enrique: "There are a few different players compared with the Berlin final. Juve are still a great team but I can't say they are better or worse than two years ago. I have great memories of that final but this game is completely different. I don't need to motivate the players for a quarter-final against a team like Juventus. We will try to win, as we always do."
