West disappointed fans in Sacramento, California on 19 November when he cancelled the show.
Fans should not expect anymore Kanye West stage rants in the near future. The Famous rapper has reportedly cancelled the remaining dates on his Saint Pablo tour in the US just hours after he launched into a tirade against his former friends Beyonce and Jay Z.
Concert-goers at the rapper's show in Sacramento, California on 19 November were left disappointed when West performed three songs before launching into a rant and storming off-stage cutting the set short.
Now, several music industry insiders are reporting that the 39-year-old has scrapped the remaining 21 dates of the North American leg entirely following a string of on-stage meltdowns.
LA Times reporter Gerrick D. Kennedy tweeted: "Just got word from a source that @kanyewest informed his crew that remaining dates of U.S. #SaintPabloTour are nixed."
ABC News anchor Veronica Miracle backs up these claims, reporting that West's show at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California on 22 November has also been cancelled. Miracle told her Twitter followers: "#BREAKING: @kanyewest in Fresno CANCELED per sources scheduled to work the concert. @savemartcenter officials havent confirmed, meeting now."
During his rant at the Sacramento show, West accused Beyonce of threatening to pull her MTV VMAs performance if she did not win video of the year award. He said: "Beyoncé, I was hurt, cause I heard that you said you wouldn't perform unless you won Video Of The Year over me, [Drake]. sometimes, we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are just to win. F**k winning...
"I've been sitting here to give y'all the truth. Jay Z, call me, bruh. You still ain't calling me. Jay Z, call me... I know you got killers. Please don't send them at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man. I'm not trying to be the man. I just am a man, the same as anybody here."
At an earlier show in San Jose, California, West had shocked his audience by revealing that he was a supporter of President-elect Donald Trump. The Saint Pablo tour was originally set to end on 3 November but West extended the North American jaunt by adding 20 extra dates stretching until New Year's Eve (31 December) with a final date in Brooklyn, New York City.
Snoop Dogg has reacted to West's latest rant in a series of Instagram videos and says in one clip: "This n***a crazy. I smoke weed. Weed don't make you do that. What the f**k is he on?"
