Kanye West Famous Video: Paris Hilton reminds everybody that she made Kim Kardashian a star
Kardashian's first TV exposure was in 2003 on Hilton's reality show The Simple Life.
Paris Hilton has reminded Kanye West who made Kim Kardashian West famous, by liking a shady image on Instagram.
A fan created the Photoshopped image of Hilton, West and the famous Kardashian from Kanye's Famous video, and added the caption: "I made his b**** famous."
Cosmopolitan, who caught Hilton liking the meme, reported that this suggested that the 35-year-old socialite hasn't forgotten the reality TV star's early days as her assistant on The Simple Life between 2003 to 2006.
The show was Kardashian's first TV exposure before the mother-of-two's profile increased dramatically following the first season of Keeping Up With The Kardashian.
Though the two ladies have a lot in common — both reality stars, both extremely wealthy socialites, both known for appearing in high-profile sex tapes — their falling out has been well documented.
The Instagram post also references the most controversial line in Yeezy's track Famous : "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b**** famous."
The lyrics have resulted in a public feud between Taylor Swift and the 39-year-old rapper, with Swift claiming that she did not approve the rhyme. The singer appeared to subtly refer to West's lyrics during her acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards in February, saying: "I want to say to all the young women out there [that] there are going to be people along the way who are going to try and undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame."
In a recent interview with GQ magazine, Kardashian claimed that the Bad Blood singer did approve the lyrics and also agreed to laugh about the song at the Grammy awards in February. Swift's team released a statement, which read: "Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since."
Swift's team responded with a jab at the couple's marriage with a statement that read: "Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognises the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West.
"Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated. Kim Kardashian's claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone."
