Kanye West to Headline Wireless Festival 2014
Kanye West has been announced as the headline act for the 2014 Wireless Festival this summer.
The Yeezus rapper will share headlining duties with Drake and Bruno Mars as the musical extravaganza, now in its tenth year, becomes a two-site event.
Concert lovers will also enjoy performances from acts including Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars and Ellie Goulding across the three days.
The event will move from last year's location in east London's Olympic Park to a new home in north London's Finsbury Park.
Artists will also be coming to Birmingham for the first time to play at the city's Perry Park (home to the Alexander Stadium).
The last time West performed on UK soil was in 2012 during his and Jay-Z's tour for their collaborative album Watch the Throne.
Drake previously headlined Wireless back in 2012 when the event was still held at London's Hyde Park.
Live Nation's Wireless Festival promoter Steve Homer said: "Wireless Festival celebrates its tenth year in 2014 and we couldn't be more thrilled to mark this momentous anniversary by taking it to a second site, Perry Park in Birmingham, and a brand new site in London, Finsbury Park.
"We are delighted to be welcoming back Drake and Kanye West as headliners and thrilled to secure Bruno Mars for his first UK Festival headline performance.
"They are perfect for Wireless Festival, securing these three artists plus many more world class acts continues to cement our reputation as a world class leader on the festival circuit."
Wireless festival takes place from Friday, July 4 to Sunday, July 6.
