Kanye West pays tribute to Kim Kardashian: 'I'm married to the girl of my dreams'

Kanye West has never been shy in regards to speaking his mind. Even less so when it comes to singing his wife's praises, but the rapper took it to a new level of gushy on Monday 25 May when he posted a Twitter tribute to Kim Kardashian.

The loved-up 37-year-old took to his personal account the day after the pair celebrated their first wedding anniversary, in a tweet directed to Kardashian, to announce in front of his followers: "I'm so happy to be married to the girl of my dreams."

He continued on to mention the couple's 23-month-old daughter, North West, saying "I love you and Nori so much!!!" and rounded off the comment by suggesting to his wife that he would "find [her] in any lifetime".

The Gold Digger hitmaker and the reality star married on 24 May 2014 at Fort di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. They began their wedding extravaganza in Paris, France, where the duo hosted a pre-wedding brunch at the Palace of Versailles, but then flew all of their guests to Italy to see them tie the knot.

West was not the only one sharing in his public displays of affection over the anniversary weekend, though. Kardashian marked the milestone with her followers on Instagram by posting several previously unseen photos from their weekend a year ago.

Kardashian's mother (and manager) Kris Jenner also joined in on looking back fondly on the couple's wedding by posting an image on her Instagram of the big day.

Depicting the newlyweds' first dance, Jenner captioned the photograph: "'Happy First Anniversary @kimkardashian #KanyeWest and thank you for taking us all on your Magical Mystery Ride... One of the best weeks of my life... and thank you @johnlegend for this amazing memory... #family #love #allofme #florenceitaly."

Friends for eight years before they became romantically involved, West and Kardashian began dating in 2012 shortly after the 34-year-old split from her ex-husband, NBA player Kris Humphries. They got engaged on Kardashian's 33rd birthday, on 21 October 2013, four months after their daughter was born.
