Kanye West's breakdown allegedly triggered by his erratic pattern of taking medicines
The Pablo rapper was discharged from hospital on 30 November.
Although Kanye West has been discharged from the UCLA Medical Center after undergoing "psychiatric evaluation" for over a week, speculations over the cause of his breakdown continue to surface on the internet. An unconfirmed report has now claimed that the rapper allegedly deviated from the prescribed medicine dosage, which caused his erratic behaviour.
Sources told TMZ that the Pablo hitmaker has "long suffered from psychological issues controllable by medication". However, he reportedly deviated from his regular prescribed dosage, which led to the breakdown.
The 39-year-old was reportedly shaken up after his wife Kim Kardashian was robbed at gun point in Paris, which is believed to have added to his "psychological issues".
"He's been shaken up ever since the robbery in Paris. It did a number on him as much as Kim. The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin. He wasn't sleeping and he was having nightmares about it," a source had earlier told Us Weekly.
However, reports suggest that the Famous rapper is responding well after his treatment at the UCLA Medical Center. West is still receiving outpatient treatment and is doing good. "I've spoken to Kim. I've not spoken to Kanye, but I think that things are going better now," Ryan Seacrest, executive producer for Keeping Up With the Kardashians told People magazine.
Further, it is said that West is being kept in isolation away from his wife and their two children – North and Saint – on doctors' advice after being discharged from hospital on 30 November.
"He is receiving outpatient care somewhere else with a medical team. Kim still seems concerned but is supportive. They don't know for how long Kanye will need outpatient care," a source told People magazine.
