Karrueche Tran dating Klay Thompson after Chris Brown split? Model denies rebounding with NBA superstar

Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran has denied reports that she is rebounding with NBA star Klay Thompson.

The 26-year-old aspiring actress, who split with Brown after finding out that he had fathered a child with another woman, insisted that there was no truth to claims that she had recently hooked up with the Golden State Warriors shooting guard after he pursued her for months.

"Klay Thompson, I don't even know who that is," she said when the celebrity news site caught up with her Los Angeles.

In November 2014, Thompson, 25, signed a $70m contract and was also part of the US national team when they won they took home gold in the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

TMZ first broke the news of r'n'b star Brown's foray into fatherhood, claiming that although they are no longer romantically involved, he is on good terms with the baby's mother Nia Guzman.

Although it is not clear if she was Brown's mistress or whether he was on a break from his tumultuous relationship with Tran when the Loyal singer allegedly fathered the child; Guzman declared on social media that she didn't want a "baby drama".

In March 2015, Tran broke down while discussing Breezy's relationship with Rihanna, his infidelity and their unhealthy break-up to make-up cycle during her televised interview on Iyanla: Fix My Life.

Struggling to hold back the tears she told the tough life coach: "I feel hurt because the man I loved betrayed me. I will never again let a man disrespect me. I want my voice to be heard... I want to clear it up and tell my story and tell my side."

Tran was famously involved in a love triangle with Brown and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, with the Loyal hit maker even leaving her on Christmas Day to go and hang out with his former lover courtside at a basketball game in full view of the world.

But despite the public humiliation Tran says she does not blame Rihanna or Guzman for Brown's infidelity. She told Vanzant: "My issue is with myself and with Chris. Not the baby, not the mother, not Rihanna, nobody. It's me and him."
