Kate Hudson shares a kissing photo as she reveals her 'pure love' story with Danny Fujikawa
"It took months for him to make the first move!" Hudson has said.
Kate Hudson took to social media on Monday (4 December) to celebrate her first date anniversary with Danny Fujikawa. While gushing about her boyfriend on Instagram, she disclosed some intimate details about her relationship, which surely makes it a "pure love" story.
The Almost Famous actress revealed the first time she met her partner he was just 23 while she was pregnant with her first son Ryder, whom she shares with her former husband Chris Robinson. She divorced him in 2007 and then dated Matt Bellamy for four years before calling it quits in 2014. They share a six-year-old son, Bingham Bellamy.
Hudson said she and Fujikawa were in the same circle, with her being best friends with his stepsisters Sara Foster and Erin Foster.
"And so it goes we have been in the same circle for over a decade!" Hudson wrote.
Although they were hanging out in the same group for the past 15 years, neither of them dared to ask each other out for a date until last year.
"A year ago today Danny took me on a hike and what I thought was just a hike with a family friend turned very quickly into an unexpected first date," she wrote.
She continued, "No moves were made on this first date. In fact, it took months for him to make the first move! And as a kiss on this bridge would have been nice, the kiss a year later was so much sweeter."
"So on our 15th year of knowing each other we were able to open our hearts to each other to feel so much pure love and it's been truly incredible.! ❤️Happy first date anniversary baby. #LoveThisMan #WhatAYear," she added.
