Kate Middleton Effect: Duchess Kate's Wimbledon dress is now available for £1,850
Duchess Kate's white Wimbledon Suzannah London dress is up for preorders, cheaper versions are also available.
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, wore a white dress to the 2019 Wimbledon Championships in July. When she wore the dress, it wasn't available for purchase. The "Kate Effect" is now at work and the Suzannah dress is finally available to buy online.
The Duchess was seen wearing the Suzannah dress on the opening day of the tournament. Her outfit perfectly synced with the Wimbledon white dress code. The 37-year-old royal is a regular at the event and never fails to impress with her chic sense of style.
Suzannah is a luxury womenswear brand by British designer Suzannah Crabb. The label specialises in making unique premium cloth into modern silhouettes reflective of vintage couture classics.
The Suzannah London "Flippy Wiggle Dress," worn by Kate Middleton, is available for preorder. The shipping time is at least six weeks. The dress doesn't come cheap though. It will set you back 1,850 pounds, Yahoo! News reports.
The white tea-length dress is made from Italian silk crepe and it has contrasting black silk buttons. The buttons work from double to single breasted down the centre front. The dress has half sleeves with buttoned cuffs.
The dress is contoured around the waist with delicate pin-tucks. Pin-tucks are also placed at the front yoke detail. It features a lightweight silk Habotai lining. It also has a silk crepe belt backed in leather and is fully detachable.
Kate accessorised her dress with a black statement belt and simple black pumps.
The Duchess is spotted courtside in the royal box every year. She and her husband, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, are ardent tennis lovers and make an appearance annually at the event.
Previously, fans were disheartened as the "Flippy Wiggle" was not available to buy. However, the Suzannah London website now has the dresses in both white and black-cream. But, the black-cream dress is priced at an even steeper 2,050 pounds.
