Kate Middleton Repeats Outfit on Royal Tour: Dress No. Five in Pictures
On the fifth day of her royal tour in New Zealand, Kate Middleton recycled outfit from her old wardrobe.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is known for repeating dresses unlike other royals, totally went casual defying earlier reports that she would sport only regal ensembles on the 19-day tour of New Zealand and Australia.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended two events in Auckland on the fifth day of their visit.
The royal couple first met Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) staff and their families at the Whenuapai Airbase. Their Royal Highnesses then sailed around Auckland Harbour on America's Cup yacht in a race with each other. The Duchess crossed the finish line ahead of the Duke twice in the race.
Kate's casual outfit seemed perfect for both the occasions. For meeting the RNZAF staff, she wore ten-button navy blazer over a white striped T-shirt by Me and Em and J Brand skinny navy jeans, which she paired with her favourite suede navy wedges by Russell & Bromley. Catherine let her hair loose in soft curls.
For the racing event, the Duchess took off her blazer and changed her wedges with deck shoes. She tied her tresses in a ponytail and wore glares and baseball cap.
Kate has been seen in similar ensembles numerous times before.
The 32-year-old new mum wore a similar-style T-shirt by Ralph Lauren Breton as well as the skinny jeans and the wedges along with Smythe one button blazer to a sports event at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London, where the Duchess famously played volleyball, in October 2013.
Kate sported same ensemble for a visit to athletes' village in Stratford during 2012 Olympics as well.
