Katie Holmes Goes Topless for Allure Cover: Says 'Open' to Expanding her Family

Katie Holmes goes topless and looked stunning as she graced the cover of Allure magazine. In the accompanying interview, the 34-year-old actress talked about her career, personal life and plans for future.

Holmes who has a six-year-old daughter Suri with actor Tom Cruise, filed for divorce from the Mission Impossible star last June after five years of marriage. And now, the Dawson's Creek star has admitted that said she's "open" to the idea of expanding her family in the future.

"I don't know. I'm open to it," she said.

The First Daughter actress also talked on rumours that she is going to be an attorney.

"Well, my brother and father are attorneys, and - we'll see. I like the practical thinking of attorneys," she added.

After her infamous divorce from Cruise, Holmes had returned to Broadway and appeared on the play Dead Accounts beginning in November 2012. Unfortunately, the show closed seven weeks early in January.

"I was open to - well, to whoever wanted me. But it was always my goal to make it back to the stage," she revealed.

Holmes also wished this year should be a good for everyone and not just herself.

"I hope this is a peaceful year for a lot of people in the world. When you look back on the last year, there were a lot of tragedies-Hurricane Sandy, the Connecticut shooting. I...I just hope it's a good year for everyone...A lot of people have gone through a lot of stuff," she said.

Finally, Holmes also shared the best beauty advice she received from her mother.

"She said, 'You may be pretty, and you may be talented, but nobody will remember that if you're mean,'" she said.
