Keeping Up With The Karadashians makes TV history after $100m deal with E!
The Kardashians have kicked their plans for world domination up a gear by inking a lucrative new deal with the E! Network, Page 6 has reported.
Momager Kris Jenner is said to have dotted the i's and crossed the t's to ensure that she and her reality TV family remain on our screens for another four years.
Daughters Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner are also part of the impressive package. However, Jenner's ex-husband Bruce is leaving the franchise to launch his own show documenting his reported gender transition. And Kim's rapper husband Kanye West is also not included in the deal.
"You'll be seeing a lot more of the Kardashian family. This is a huge deal, which will see their involvement with the network and its digital properties expand well into the future," a source said.
The deal, which would make the Kardashians the richest reality stars in TV history, covers at least four more seasons of the hit show, spin-offs as well as possible digital projects.
Although an E! spokesperson slammed the bumper payday deal as "grossly inaccurate", insiders insist that show executives are keen to keep details of the deal under wraps.
"E! is now freaking because others are calling trying to get a better deal – like Guilana [Rancic]," an insider told People.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians first aired on E! in 2007 after Kim's sex tape featuring then boyfriend Ray J catapulted her to international fame.
The 10th season will air on 15 March.
