Keeping Up With The Kardashians production on hold as E! says 'Kim's well-being is our core focus'
Following the Paris robbery, Kim and husband Kanye West have kept a low profile on social media.
E! network's has halted production of its reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians season 12 after Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint at a hotel in Paris on 3 October.
A spokesperson for E! said: "Kim's well-being is our core focus right now. No decision has been made as to when production will resume." The next episode of season 12 was scheduled to be aired on 23 October and the network has not changed the return date in light of the production break.
The hiatus comes after Kardashian was held at gunpoint, bound and gagged and locked in a bathroom by two masked and armed intruders, posing as police officers. The robbers stole jewellery worth more than $11m (£8.6m) and other valuables, including her cellphones. The mother-of-two left the French capital and returned to New York following the incident.
According to reports, the family did not film further episodes of KUWTK season 12 while they were in New York. Kim and Kanye have kept a low profile on social media since the incident. Earlier, the reality TV star's spokesperson released a statement and said, "Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed."
The 35-year-old star has also postponed her make-up tutorial scheduled for 14 October in Dubai following the incident. A statement was released on Instagram which read, "Dear Dubai Masterclass Attendees, on behalf of myself and Kim Kardashian West, please accept our apologies. We are sorry to inform you that due to the recent events, we will be rescheduling the Dubai Masterclass with Kim Kardashian West."
"We understand the inconvenience that this has caused you. You will have the option to cancel and receive a full refund, or we can hold the ticket for the rescheduled date. Rescheduling details will be sent out within the week.
"We deeply and sincerely apologize from the bottom of our hearts. We truly hope you all understand the decision we had to make and look forward to our upcoming class. We will update you via email and TheMasterClass.com [sic]".
