Kelly Rowland to go under the knife for second boob job
Destiny's Child star claims previously-enhanced breasts now resemble 'flapjacks' after birth of son.
Kelly Rowland has revealed that she intends to go under the knife for a second boob job. The Destiny's Child singer, who had her first breast augmentation aged 28, admitted that becoming a mother had altered the appearance of her bosom.
Opening up about her insecurities in her new parenting guide Whoa, Baby!, the Survivor hitmaker writes: "I can't speak for everyone, but I know I'm going to see someone (wink, wink) after I have my second kid. In the meantime, I just tried to enjoy my ability to feed my baby!"
"My nipples were HUGE – we are talking the size of Frisbees – and sometimes I could see these veins bulging out while I was nursing. My boobs themselves were so long and stretchy that I sometimes felt like I could've swung them over my shoulders."
Rowland welcomed her son Titan Jewell with husband Tim Witherspoon in November 2014. "Even with the silicon action, it was like some of the air had been sucked out and they just sort of hung there like flapjacks."
Fans may recall that it was Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles who stopped Rowland from having surgery as a teenager.
She said in 2013: "I wanted to get breast implants when I was 18, but my mom and Beyonce's mom told me to really think about it first. I took their advice and waited 10 years."
The Grammy-winning singer adds author to her glowing CV with the release of Whoa, Baby!, a Guide for new mothers who feel overwhelmed. "Dr Bickman and I wanted to create an answer to what to expect after childbirth. No one told me what to expect physically, emotionally, or mentally," she said of her voyage into the literary world.
Rowland has taken a frank approach with her imperfections having recently bared her stretch marks in all their glory on Instagram. She shared the candid photo in support of Kendrick Lamar's Humble music video, which celebrates natural women.
