Kevin Hart Proposes To Long-Term Girlfriend Eniko Parrish: 'She said YEEEEESSSSS'!
After defending her against 'gold-digger' and 'mistress' accusations and praising her as his support system, Kevin Hart has finally popped the question to his girlfriend of five years, Eniko Parrish.
The Wedding Ringer star lived up to the movie's title by proposing with a huge diamond sparkler, which his bride-to-be showed off in a picture he posted on Instagram.
The happy comedian captioned the image. "She said YEEEEESSSSS...... #Happy #MyRib #iF**kingLoveHer".
The romantic star surprised the model on her 30th birthday by getting down on one knee in front of family and friends.
The 35-year-old had previously posted: "Happy Birthday to the most amazing woman in the world. Today is your day babe & we are going to party like it's 1999... I love you so much. I'm a better man because of you".
However the funnyman could not resist making a joke, adding: "P.S your old as s**t now lmao #Dirty30 #HappyBday #ThrowBackPic."
News of the engagement will undoubtedly cause further friction between Kevin and his former wife, Torrei Hart - who has previously claimed their marriage failed because Kevin cheated on her with Eniko as soon as his comedy career took off.
Kevin, who was married to fellow comic, 36-year-old Torrei Hart, from 2003 until 2011, angrily responded to her claims on social media.
He tweeted in May: "My woman has nothing to do with my past marriage problems in any way shape or form. It's almost 7yrs total of me not being with my Ex ... I guess giving a woman over 20k a month and still being there for her and being a incredible father isn't enough!"
The upcoming nupitals mean Eniko will officially become stepmother to the comic's two children, daughter Heaven, nine, and son Hendrix, five.
Torrei spoke to Entertainment Tonight a few months ago, and revealed the pain of having the same woman who allegedly led to the break-up of her marriage around her children.
She said: "It does hurt that my kids have to be around a woman who broke up a marriage," Torrei said. "I was with [Kevin] when he was selling sneakers for five dollars an hour. I was at every show. I was at his first show where he ever did standup ... I was his muse. I was there from the beginning."
Ironically, the engagement comes on the same day as the premiere of Torrei's VH1 show Atlanta Exes.
