Kevin Hart responds to Eniko Hart 'homewrecker' drama on Instagram: 'I can't even be shocked'
Comedian's wife Eniko slammed his ex-wife Torrei for falsely labelling her a "mistress".
Kevin Hart is used to making people laugh as a comedian but now the joke is on him. The Ride Along actor has responded to the drama between his wife, Eniko Hart, and ex-wife Torrei Hart, over claims he cheated during his first marriage and admits he is simply laughing at the scandalous situation.
Eniko, 33, caused a stir when she took to Instagram appearing to accuse Kevin's first wife Torrei of labelling her a "homewrecker" and "mistress" when she first began dating the comedian.
With fans on social media debating Eniko's comments, Kevin, 38, waded into the argument to settle the dispute once and for all. In a furious video, the American actor told fans: "Even after talking about my life in my stand-up specials, a lot of stand-up specials, you've actually seen me grow as a man through my stand-up specials. [It's] still not enough? No? That's not enough?"
Kevin continued: "Even after writing a book, a very good book... about my life in great detail ... [it's] still not enough? Going to be honest with you people, I'm at a point where I can't even be shocked anymore. All I do is laugh, man. I had a person tell me what they felt was factual information about me, while they were talking to me. Huh?! That moment where you meet somebody on the street who knows more about your life than you."
The Get Hard actor married Eniko in August 2016 but she sparked controversy after revealing they actually began dating in 2008, when Kevin was still married to but reportedly separated from Torrei. Fans questioned the timeline of Eniko and Kevin's relationship and accused the couple, who are expecting their first child together, of having an affair behind Torrei's back.
Watch Kevin Hart respond to the Eniko and Torrei drama:
Kevin has addressed his divorce from Torrei in interviews and, most notably, in his stand-up specials. In his 2013 special, Let Me Explain, Hart tells the audience: "Okay, me and my ex-wife are friends. What are you talking about?... Please. We're friends. We're [amicable]. But we are. That's the best thing about being a comedian, I can address it. I can talk about it my damn self."
He continues: "Everybody assumes that because you went through a divorce, you went through a fucked-up period of life. You hate each other. You're enemies. It's not true. At the end of the day, that's the mother of my kids. I'm always gonna respect her as the mother of my kids. She's happy, she's moved on. I'm happy, I've moved on." He then jokes: "I'm happier than she is, though."
Torrei, 39, has also responded to the latest drama with Eniko but shares a similar sentiment to Kevin – let the past stay in the past. The Atlanta Exes star told TMZ: "Honestly, that's been so long ago. Why are we still tripping on that. I'm happy out here, successful business woman, launching my brand – doing what I need to do. I just had a big women's empowerment event yesterday. I wish I had the time she had to sit there and read comments all day long. I really do, but I don't.
"I don't have time to get into all of that. I told them before, I'm happy for them. You know, they're about to have a baby. My kids are very happy that they have a sibling on the way. I'm honestly happy for them, so I don't understand where this is coming from."
However, Torrei was quick to add: "Numbers don't lie. Dates don't lie at the end of the day. She forced my hand to address it publicly."
