Khloe Kardashian confronts Caitlyn Jenner about Kris: 'Don't drag my mom through the mud'
Khloe Kardashian warns Caitlyn Jenner to stop talking negatively about her mother Kris Jenner in a newly released clip from the next episode of reality series I Am Cait, and urges her to focus on "the cause" rather than causing animosity between the once tight-knit unit.
The snippet indicating what's to come on the fourth episode of the show entitled Family Interference, begins with the pair discussing a series of "tough" text messages that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had sent to Jenner about slamming Kris.
Kardashian started her explanation by saying: "Kim [Kardashian] said that you said they were tough and Kim read all of them and she was like: 'These really weren't that tough.' I just said: 'We don't care what you're doing.' Meaning we don't care if you want to transition. We want to support you and be there for you. But, we don't think that that entails you speaking negatively about my mom... In our opinion, you don't even need to mention my mom."
Jenner doesn't have the time to respond before Kardashian continues: "Let's not drag my mom through the mud. I would think you would come from a place of more compassion, especially when you have two young daughters who are greatly affected by it."
Before her transition, Jenner married Kris in 1991 after five months of dating, and went on to have two children, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, with the television personality-turned-manager. When Jenner became a part of Kris' family, Kardashian was six-years-old and has often been referred to as having a very close relationship with her former step-parent.
The 31-year-old then goes on to say in the short video: "And that was my premise for the text messages, and then when you try and tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about..." before 65-year-old Jenner replies: "Because you don't know, you don't know."
I Am Cait airs in the US on Sundays at 8pm ET on E!
