Kim Kardashian naked photos ahead of Women's Day generates 'slut-shaming' debate

Ever have one of those days when nothing in your closet seems good enough to wear? Well, looks like Kim Kardashian has the same problem. And while the rest of us may end up in a pair of track pants at the end of it all, the reality star decided to tackle her wardrobe woes by not wearing anything at all.

Kim posted a "naked-in-the-bedroom" selfie on Instagram and even captioned it with: "When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL." As if anyone's bothered why!

The wife of Kanye West, sporting platinum blonde hair in the image, showed off a full frontal view of her body (with tiny black strips to cover up certain bits of her).

Now, the internet is not going to break over a naked picture of Kim, after all what's there to reveal that hasn't already been seen by the rest of the world? But her decision to post the image, just a day before Women's Day (8 March) has become a matter of debate.

Chloe Grace Moretz was one of the first to comment on the image, with a message directed at Kim.

However, her comment backfired with people defending Kim's right to show off her body as she saw fit. Chloe responded explaining that her aim was not to "slut-shame" anyone.

Bette Midler on the other hand reacted to the naked selfie with a funnier tweet, referring to Kim's propensity towards stripping for the camera.

And those who aren't worked up about Kim's responsibility as a female celebrity towards young girls around the world, were impressed by the 34-year-old's figure, just three months after giving birth to son Saint West in December 2015... that's till Kim revealed that the picture was a year old.

For the rest, it was just another chance to check her out naked and to make things more interesting, she followed up her "nothing to wear" photo with a black and white one from an earlier shoot and hash-tagged it "#liberated".
