Rob Kardashian diagnosed with diabetes: Kim's brother has battled weight issues and depression
Rob Kardashian, brother of reality TV star Kim Kardashian was admitted at a hospital on 29 December and diagnosed with diabetes. The 28-year-old's condition deteriorated over the weekend.
"He's home already. He went for a little and is fine now. It was a wake up call," an inside told E! News. The source added that Rob's tests revealed high blood sugar levels. "...doctors told him that he needs to lose weight, exercise and dramatically change his diet, or it will get worse."
Rob has been out of the limelight due to personal issues, and was reportedly battling depression. He even missed his sister's wedding to Kanye West and was also not present at a Christmas party her mother Kriss Jenner had organised last week.
According to Gossip Cop, Rob's problems swelled when doctors revealed in one of the episodes of Keep Up With The Kardashians that his liver was failing and chances of an organ failure were high.
In another episode, his mother had claimed that Rob had gained almost 100 pounds. "I cry myself to sleep literally every night worrying about him," she had said. While speaking to People Magazine, his sister Khloe Kardashian said: "He's charming, charismatic, everything. That's what's so infuriating. I'm like, 'Where is your will to live life?' Let's be around people"
Rob has reportedly become reclusive and was not even doing daily routines. He has not appeared in the latest seasons of Keeping Up With The Kadarshians.
