Kim Richards reveals truth behind her drunken arrest in interview with Dr Phil; watch live stream online

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has revealed the truth behind her drunken arrest in an interview with Dr Phil McGraw, which is scheduled to air on Tuesday, 28 April.

In the interview, the troubled reality TV star has opened up about her ongoing battle with alcoholism and her recent arrest for public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer.

In a promo, Richards is seen storming out of a room after Dr Phil reportedly criticised her bad behavior and questioned her sobriety and Richards is asking the interviewer, "Is this an intervention?"

After the interview, Dr Phil spoke to Extra and revealed why the actress stormed out.

He said, "Well, I'll let people decide whether this was a storm-out or an anxiety storm, but again, when that's their stock and trade of deflect, change the subject, control, manipulate, and you take those things away from them, they kind of run out of coping energy, and I think when it happens, you've gotta have a big anxiety rush — and I think that's a lot of what's going on."

In the promo, Richards is seen explaining, "I drank a glass full of about 2 in of liquor before getting behind the wheel on April 16."

"I pulled in [to the Beverly Hills Hotel] because I'm comfortable there, I've been going there since I'm a little girl," she said and added, "The bar was closed. It was empty."

Then as the clip ends, Dr Phil questions her, "Were you loud, were you obnoxious, were you crazy?"
