Kim Zolciak shares heartfelt photo of her 'strongest little' son Kash kissing the dog that bit him
In April this year, the family's husky-boxer pet unexpectedly bit their 5-year-old son leaving a huge scar close to his eye.
Kim Zolciak is all set to share the horrifying story her son Kash and the dog bite that nearly blinded him. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the reality star said she wants to raise awareness for dog owners regarding similar incidents.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star shares a touching photo of her son Kash kissing his dog Sinn. "There are no words to describe the episode tomorrow night of Don't Be Tardy NEW TIME 9 pm EST. Kroy and I after a few tough days and many conversations decided to share our story about Kash and the dog bite," her lengthy caption reads.
In April this year, the family's husky-boxer pet unexpectedly bit their 5-year-old son Kash leaving a huge bloody scar close to his eye. Luckily the scratch was just millimetres away from his eye which helped the doctors to treat his scars with plastic surgery. In the emotional post, the RHOA star confessed she still gets tears while recalling the dog attack.
However, Zolciak said she wants to raise awareness in order to make pet owners aware and not to let similar incidents happen to their children. "I'm sick to my stomach and my eyes are full of tears as I try to even write this. The sole purpose we did share this was to raise awareness that this can happen to ANYONE!"
Zolciak, who shares six children with Kroy Biermann, recalled that a few weeks after the bite Kash's plastic surgeon told them that: "You guys know how blessed you are (it was less than a millimeter from his eyeball (his waterline was sliced in half) and you have the platform to raise awareness and I hope you do!".
The mother-of-six announced that the incident will be aired on the latest episode of Don't Be Tardy, which will air on Friday, 10 November. After thanking everyone involved in her son's recovery, she also informed her son has "healed incredible" and he is the "strongest little boy I know."
