Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile secretly married? Twilight star says 'I miss my wife'
Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile are struck by rumours that they may be secretly married. A celebrity gossip website has claimed that the 25-year-old actress hinted about the nuptials while attending the after-party of her new movie American Ultra in Los Angeles.
On 18 August, Robert Pattinson's former girlfriend brought along her former Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner to the premiere of American Ultra at the Ace Theater in Los Angeles. According to OK! magazine, when an eyewitness heard her saying: "I miss my wife."
"When I congratulated Kristen on being married, she gave me a quirky smile and coyly said 'thanks!' and then ran off to celebrate with friends and costars, who were hugging and congratulating her all night," the insider said, Hollywood Life reported.
However, the source added: "It's unlikely that the actress will formally announce the nuptials. Alicia hates the attention more than Kristen."
IBTimes UK has contacted a representative for Stewart and is awaiting comment.
Rumours that Stewart and Cargile, a Los Angeles-based visual effects producer, are more than friends started circulating after images of them holidaying in Honolulu, Hawaii emerged. Adding on, in an interview, with Nylon magazine, Stewart talked about personal sexuality and the obsession of the media in "defining relationships".
"If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it," she said. "But I am an actress, man. I live in the f**king ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don't feel like it would be true for me to be like, 'I'm coming out!' No, I do a job."
"Until I decide that I'm starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving... I don't. I'm just a kid making movies," she added.
When asked whom The Clouds of Sils Maria actress is dating now, she remarked,"Google me, I'm not hiding."
