Kylie Jenner responds to Twitter hack and racist, obscene messages
Kylie Jenner's Twitter account was hacked and a series of obscene and racist messages were posted online on 5 June. However, the reality show star managed to take control of her account soon after and deleted all the posts.
One tweet posted by the hacker read: "I love being so famous with no talent," while another racist one stated: "alex is a stupid N****," followed by "everybody type in the chat alex is a stupid n****". There were also a couple referencing Jenner's friend Justin Bieber.
The hacker then took credit for the hack with the final post: "lol @lolsw4y was here."
However, Jenner played it cool with a Snapchat video, in which she explained the incident. "So my Twitter was hacked. And I don't really care," she said, while snacking on chips. "I'm just letting them have fun."
She did, however, address one of the tweets which was regarding her sex tape with ex-boyfriend Tyga. "Everyone's like 'leak the sex tape!' Guys. You're never gonna see a sex tape from me," she said in another video posted soon after.
Last week, Katy Perry's account was also hacked and a number of abusive messages were sent out. The hacker mentioned his Twitter handle alongside the first message "#Hackersgonnahack".
The target of the hacked messages were YouTube celebrity Keemstar and Perry's alleged nemesis Taylor Swift. For some reason, one of the posts also read: "Miss u baby @taylorswift13".
