Lady Gaga electrified the atmosphere of Times Square and lifted the spirits of revelers with her stunning performance on New Year's Eve.

Gaga, a native New Yorker herself, activated the New Year's eve ball drop along with New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg to mark the beginning of 2012.

Justin Bieber, Pitbull, LMFAO, Florence and The Machine, and The Band Perry also performed throughout the evening to welcome the New Year.
